Corrugated cardboard is made from a fluted corrugated sheet combined with two sheets of paper called liner which is placed around either side of the fluting.
The three layers being placed together like this gives the overall structure better strength and more durability than that of each distinct layer.
Both the liner and the corrugated sheet are made from a special kind of heavy paper called containerboard(CCM or corrugated case material).
